(Palo Alto, CA) Hillary Bor (All Army) ran away from the field at the Stanford Invitational Friday night to win with a personal best in his 2016 steeplechase opener. Bor posted a U.S. and World leading mark for the 2016 at 8:30.70, less than a second off of the Rio Olympic standard.

Bor, a U.S. Army soldier stationed at Ft. Carson in Colorado, easily qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials and hopes the mark qualifies him for the Army’s World Class Athlete Program.
