Wendy Thomas Re-Joins ADP

(Colorado Springs, CO) Wendy Thomas, one of the original athletes of the American Distance Project, has rejoined the professional training group. Thomas, the mother of two boys who is originally from Colorado Springs, experienced the highlights of her career while training with the ADP from 2011 to 2014. Thomas was a 2011 U.S. Olympics Trials qualifier in both the marathon and the 10,000-meters. She holds personal bests of 32:48 for 10,000-meters, 72:29 for the half-marathon and 2:32:49 in the marathon from her 18th-place finish in the 2014 Boston Marathon.
She has twice represented the U.S. in international competition including the 2014 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships and has nine times placed in the top-10 in U.S. national championships with a best of 4th-place at the 2014 U.S. Half Marathon Championships.
