Korir Surprises For Win At Great Edinburgh XC

Leonard Korir (US Army) employed tenacity and a last second kick to take the title and lead Team USA to the win over UK and Europe at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country on Sunday in Scotland. Sam Chelanga (Nike) and Stanley Kebenei (Nike) rallied for 4th and 5th, with all three Americans besting double Olympic 5,000m and 10,000m gold medalist Mo Farah who finished 7th, with US steeplechase Olympian Hillary Bor (US Army) taking 10th.
