Paul Chelimo (US Army), 2016 Rio Olympic 5,000m sliver medalist, decimated a deep field in the 2-Mile Run at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships held last weekend in Albuquerque, NM. After a pedestrian opening 200m, Chelimo took to the lead and progressively opened up a 10-second gap, leaving in his a wake a race for second with Bowerman TC teammates Woody Kincaid and World Indoor silver medalist Ryan Hill snatching 2nd and 3rd from steeplechase Olympian Hillary Bor (US Army), who came in 4th well ahead of fellow 1500m Olympian Ben Blankenship.
